Good News for Inactive PTCL Landline and DSL Broadband Users

If you are among those users who were using PTCL DSL broadband internet and PTCL landline services and later quit using it due to some reasons – here’s good news for such users – PTCL is now offering a 50% discount on re-connecting to the network. Users can take advantage of this offer till 31st March 2014.


As per latest offer details, Internet and Landline customers who discontinued using PTCL services for any reason on or before 31st August 2013 can reconnect and enjoy a big discount of 50%. This discount is on monthly billings of both the services. Below are some details that are available on PTCL official website:
No installation or restoration charges for Broadband and Landline customers.
Customer can enjoy unlimited on-net calls for just Rs.250/month.
No line rent
50% discount on outstanding PTCL dues
50% discount on Broadband and Landline monthly charges till March 2014

This offer is only valid for those customers who discontinued PTCL services on or before 31st August 2013. This offer can be availed till 20th September 2013.

Bollywood cleavage row shows India's 'crass' side

A clash between India's top newspaper and a Bollywood actress shows no signs of abating. It all began last week with The Times of India publishing a photo and tweet about actress Deepika Padukone's cleavage. "OMG: Deepika Padukone's cleavage show," the paper tweeted alongside a photo of her from an event last year. The actress hit back angrily, tweeting: " YES! I am a Woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??". It was re-tweeted more than 7,000 times and the #IStandWithDeepikaPadukone became India's top Twitter trend for hours on the day. The newspaper deleted the tweet, but tried to mollify her, replying "It's a compliment!
